George M Newhall

George Morgan Newhall 78, of Indianapolis, passed away May 15, 2014 after a long illness. He was born February 13, 1936 in Philadelphia, PA to George and Caroline Newhall. He was retired from the Army Finance Center and the Army Reserve. George will long be remembered for his incredible memory and the love of his dogs, the Oakland A's, history, and nature. He was a longtime member of the Indianapolis Hiking Club, the Nature Conservancy, and the Indianapolis Humane Society. George is survived by his brother Ted(Gretchen) of Tiger, Georgia, close friends, and exceptional caregivers such as Sheryl Davis and Victoria Campbell. Viewing will be held on Tuesday, May 20, 2014 from 12:00 to 1:00 PM followed by a service at 1:00 PM at Flanner and Buchanan – Washington Park East, 10722 E. Washington Street.
