George M. 'Bud' Ivy

George "Bud" M. Ivy 83, of Indianapolis, IN, passed away Monday February 17, 2014. He was born September 24, 1930 to his parents George and Willena Ivy. He was a proud Veteran of the US Air Force. Bud was a truck driver for Yellow Freight and retired after 25 years of working. He was a member of Teamsters Local #135 and a lifetime member of VFW Post 1120. He will be very missed by his friends and family. Bud is survived by his loving wife of 48 years, Betty Ivy(Goins), Children, Debra (Danny) Steinmeyer Quinn, Tisa Norris, Timothy (Cindy) Steinmeyer, Linda (Randy) Venard, and Daniel (Britt) Steinmeyer; 13 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren. Visitation for Bud will be on Saturday February 22, 2014 11:00 – 1:00 pm at Flanner and Buchanan Funeral Center – Decatur Township. Services will follow the visitation at 1:00 pm in the Funeral Center. Burial will follow the services at West Newton Cemetery.
