George Lintner

George Walter Lintner, Jr., 77, Zionsville, passed away July 5, 2014. George retired from Rock Island Arsenal in 1988 after working for 34 years. He enjoyed camping and traveling with his family. He spent many hours working in his garage and doing projects around the house, namely woodworking and gardening. Mr. Lintner was an avid bowler and golfer and enjoyed keeping track of the current gas prices. He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Sharon, three children, Laurie (John) Nolan, Scott Lintner, and Craig (Beth) Lintner, eight grandchildren, Kyle, Allison, Hannah, CJ, Maddie, Brett, Raegan, and Mallary, and two great-grandchildren, Colby and Scarlett. A private service will be held. Memorial contributions can be made to the Lintner Foundation for Leukemia Research and Family Aide. Arrangements entrusted to Flanner and Buchanan-Zionsville.
