George Allen Cantrell

73, of Indianapolis, Indiana, passed away on August 23, 2021.  George was born on August 19, 1948 in McMinnville, TN to the late Andy and Helen Cantrell.  He was an Army Veteran of the Vietnam War.  He was a retired driver.  He was preceded in death by his siblings, Rebecca Day, Mark Cantrell and Gordon Cantrell and his parents.  He is survived by his wife, Drema Cantrell; children, Angela Cantrell, Tammy (Larry) Brown and George Cantrell, II; grandchildren, Stephen Smith, Kevin Smith, Aaron Cantrell and Jenna Cantrell and siblings, Nancy Engel, Hazel Mitchell, Ellen Murphy, Charlie Cantrell, Ruby Wright, John Cantrell and Libby Biggers.  Visitation will be Friday, September 3, 2021 from 11 am to 1 pm with a funeral service at 1 pm at Flanner Buchanan-Floral Park.  Burial will follow at Floral Park Cemetery.
