Genevieve Kannally

Genevieve B. Kannally 85, Indianapolis, passed away October 21, 2011. She was born on November 13, 1925 in Marengo, IN, the daughter of Lee and Edna (Eddleman) Waynick. Jenny was a graduate of Shortridge High School and attended Indiana University. She was a life-long member of the Sigma Kappa Sorority. Jenny had served as a docent at the Indianapolis Zoo. She enjoyed playing euchre, bowling, golfing, and was a member of Maple Creek Golf and Country Club. Jenny is survived by her niece, Carolea Clothier and her partner, Lorraine Hahn of Pembroke Pines, FL, and her three special friends, Sister Ruth Ellen Doane, Sister Susan Dinnin, and Sister Patty Wallace. A celebration of Jenny's life will be held on Wednesday, October 26 at 11:30 a.m. in Flanner and Buchanan Funeral Center - Broad Ripple , with visitation from 10 a.m. until service time. Burial will be in Holy Cross Cemetery. Friends are invited to wear red and white to the service in honor of Jenny's loyalty and love of Indiana University.
