79, of Westfield, IN, passed away on October 1, 2016. Gary was retired from the U. S. Air Force. He was a member of V.F.W. Post 7119. He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Nancy Butts; children, Dennis (Uli) Butts and Rhonda (Russell) Best; grandchildren, USAF Capt. Christina (John) Wetta, Matthew Bunch; great-granddaughter, Emma Wetta and seven brothers and sisters. Graveside services will be held on Thursday, October 6, 2016 at 11 a.m. at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the American Heart Association or American Diabetes Association. Arrangements by Flanner and Buchanan-Oaklawn Memorial Gardens.
