Gail E. Hill, 86 of Indianapolis, died February 29, 2012. He was born July 7, 1925 in Falmouth, IN. Gail served in the US Navy during WWII and earned a BS degree in Electrical Engineering from Purdue University. Gail was married to Margaret Shoaf for 43 years. He retired from Allison Gas Turbine after 40 years of service. Prior to his illness, Gail was an active member of the Pike Township Lions Club. He is survived by sister Patsy Page, brother Sylvester, sons and their wives; Dennis (Beth), Donald (Sue), and Martin (Connie), daughter Luanna and 6 grandchildren. Gail was preceded in death by his wife Margaret, daughter Gail "Sparky", and brother Leo.
Services will be held 11:00 a.m., Saturday March 3, 2012 at St. Louis de Montfort Catholic Church, with calling at 9:30 a.m. until time of service. Burial will be at Calvary Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in Gail's name may be made to Pike Township Lions Club.
