Gail Eisenhut, 62, of Indianapolis, IN, passed away unexpectedly on December 19, 2020. She was born on October 11, 1958 to the late John Leroy and Norma Jean Arney, the second of six children.
Gail was a retired registered nurse, but was most proud of her favorite job — being a mother to her three children: Richard (Richie) Bailey, Brittany (Bita) Eisenhut, and Erin Arney, and grandma to her grand-daughter Breanna Bailey. A life-long Catholic, she was a longtime member of Little Flower Catholic Church on the Eastside of Indianapolis. A woman with many interests and hobbies, she most enjoyed spending time with her family and gardening. She donated several plants to the Church every year and was frequently reviving the plants of family and friends with less green thumbs. Her laugh, advice, and strong opinions will be missed.
She is preceded in death by her parents and beloved brother Aaron Arney.
Gail is survived by her three children, granddaughter, her sisters Joy and Lisa, and her brothers Matt and Tim.
Flowers are happily accepted, but when the time constraint we recommend giving a donation in her name to The Julian Center or IndyHumane.
Services are private, but a limited memorial visitation will be held from 1-3PM on Wednesday, December 23, 2020 at Flanner Buchanan – Washington Park East at 10722 Washington St. Due to the pandemic, we will be practicing social distancing and space will be limited.
