Gabrielle Marie Beard

Gabrielle was born on Friday afternoon the 29th of May 1992 in the Women's Hospital of Indianapolis. She weighed 7 pounds 6 ounces and was 20 ¼ inches long. There were concerns she might be diabetic so she was whisked away to the special care nursery. However she was born with no health issues and she got to go home two days later. The first weeks of life were a time to bond with her Mommy. Gabrielle received visits from numerous family members who had been anxiously waiting her arrival. She was a happy baby who was deeply loved and thrived well in her secure little world. Grandma Beard took extra good care of Gabrielle when her Mommy went back to work. The early years flew by and she began the start of her adventuring life. There were travels to Colorado, Florida, Wisconsin and South Carolina to name a few. Gabrielle travelled well and settled down for long trips in the car with no complaints. The first few years of school were spent at St Gabriel School which was appropriate since she was named after the angel Gabriel. All through Gabrielle's life she absorbed everything she saw and heard. She was a quick learner and an eager student who achieved success with very little effort. Her middle years were spent in Speedway schools and her high school years at Herron High School. The next step was to attend DePauw University in Greencastle, Indiana. She earned an associates degree in 2012 and had recently transferred to IUPUI in Indianapolis to finish her Bachelor's degree. Further adventures took Gabrielle to Ireland, Belize, France and Uganda. She had hopes of being a humanitarian with her inspiration coming from Ghandi and Nelson Mandela. Gabrielle always had a compassionate heart and she wanted to help anyone in need. Gabrielle met Adrian Leveille during the Summer of 2013 in Terre Haute, Indiana and they bonded immediately. They seemed to feel as if they had met their other half. The happy couple married while in Florida early in December 2013. Gabrielle and Adrian shared their last months of life in Indianapolis. Together they had many dreams and goals to fill their lifetime ahead. Sadly they passed away on Friday June 20, 2014.
