Gabriel Adán and Analiese Eleanor Escobar-Helfgott: Forever in Our Hearts

From conception, Gabriel Adán and Analiese Eleanor were deeply loved. The family, especially their parents Adrian and Sarah, were blessed to get to know them on this journey. Gabriel already showed signs of humor, bravery, and love for his sister, while Analiese was always feisty, giving the nurses and doctors a hard time by kicking the heart monitor and wiggling for minutes on end. Gabriel passed away peacefully before birth at 22 weeks on August 8, 2025. A month later, on September 8, 2025, his twin sister, Analiese, was born at 26 weeks. Both Gabriel and Analiese were born in each other’s arms. Analiese graced her family with her presence for a short but precious time before she passed away in her father’s loving embrace.

Born embracing each other, Gabriel and Analiese showed their family their unending love. The love shared between the twins and their family had a profound impact on everyone they touched, from their community to the medical staff who fought alongside Adrian and Sarah for their children. Though their time with us was brief, Gabriel and Analiese's memory will forever be cherished in the hearts of their devoted parents, Adrian Escobar and Sarah Escobar-Helfgott; their loving sister, Elena Marie; and their adoring brother, Luka David. Their memory will be carried tenderly in every heartbeat, every breath, and every act of love. The family finds comfort knowing Gabriel and Analiese are together, hand in hand in an eternal embrace, held in the arms of G-d.

Visitation / Funeral Services / Donations

The family will honor Gabriel and Analiese with an overnight visitation on Friday, September 19, 2025, from 9:00 p.m. to 9:00 a.m. at Flanner Buchanan Washington Park East, located at 10722 E. Washington Street, Indianapolis, Indiana 46229.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 20, 2025, at 11:00 a.m., followed by placement at Washington Park East Cemetery.

A donation box for a tree-planting trip to the Holy Land in honor of Gabriel and Analiese will be available for those who wish to participate in a memorable act for the family.

Both the overnight visitation and funeral will be child-friendly, and the family highly encourages children to come to remember the existence of these little angels. The family requests that attendees refrain from wearing traditional black clothing and instead wear more colorful and festive clothing to celebrate the twins' existence. This can be colorful clothing, or clothing with flowers, cartoon characters, or even a kid-friendly costume. The overnight visitation and funeral are for and with children in mind, not only to honor the twins but also to help their surviving siblings process this loss.

The family has requested that if people are able to, they can bring:

  • Two small stuffed animals for the twins to be laid to rest with in their final resting place.
  • Seeds for a butterfly memorial garden instead of flowers.
  • Bubble wands or bubble guns for the twins and children to enjoy.
  • An item to donate to other angel baby families. These could include handmade items like bracelets, hats, or blankets, comfortable pants for postpartum moms, manual breast pumps, small teddy bears, memory boxes, journals, and pens. All donated items will go to the maternal and bereavement services at the hospital where the twins were born, as a thank you to the staff and for future angel parents.
