93 of Indianapolis, Indiana, passed on May 23, 2023, in Avon, Indiana. Frieda was born on March 25, 1930, in Indianapolis, Indiana to the late Chalmer and Thurza Sutphin. She was a homemaker. She was a member of Mars View Christian Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Coman; son, Timothy Coman; siblings, Paul Gabhart, Lillie Williams, Ruby Lair, Keith Gabhart, Earl Sutphin, Dorothy Edens and Jean Davis; step grandson, Sean Straber and her parents. She is survived by her daughters, Micki (Butch) Straber and Ann Kelley; sister, Pauline Sutphin Jones; five grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. Visitation will be Friday, May 26, 2023, from noon to 2 pm at Flanner Buchanan-Floral Park. Funeral service will be Friday, May 26, 2023, at 2 pm at Flanner Buchanan-Floral Park. Burial will follow at Floral Park Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Riley Hospital for Children.
