He was a loving father. grandfather, and great grandpa. He devoted his life to God and his family. He was the most loving and caring man. We were lucky to be a part of his life.
His survivors include his children: Fred Cowan Jr., Joy Smith, Faith Hartig, Colleen Schad; grandkids, Caille and Morgan Hartig, Jessica and Jeffrey Schad; great grandkids, Clarence, Wesley and Londyn.
Donations may be made to the Good News Mission where he devoted his time volunteering.
Visitation will be Wednesday, February 1, from 4-7:00 p.m. at Flanner and Buchanan Broad Ripple, 1305 Broad Ripple Avenue with services on Thursday, February 2, at3:00 p.m. at the Faith Missionary Church College Avenue, 9125 N. College Ave.
