Frederick Joseph Hartmann, Jr.

Frederick JosephHartmann, Jr., 85, Indianapolis, went home to be with the Lord September28, 2016. He was born to Fred and Alice (Hoeffer) Hartmann on December 7, 1930.He graduated from Cathedral High School in 1948 and the University of NotreDame in 1952. He was a Certified Public Accountant and had his own practice asa CPA. He was a charter member of the Riviera Club. His parents joined the clubin 1934. He and his wife, Mary, were married at Christ the King Catholic Churchin 1957. He is survived by his wife, Mary, children, Suzette, Greg (Karim),Patrice (Steve Quinn), James (Liz), and Kevin (Samantha), grandchildren,Ashley, Jack, Anna, Rachel, and Julia Alice, sister and brother-in-law, BarbaraRussell and Gary Russell, Fargo, ND, brother-in-law, Thomas Whitmore, Carmel,IN. He was predeceased by his parents and sisters Mary Craig and Joan Duane andsister-in-law, Pat Metzger, Colorado Springs, CO. He was a veteran of theKorean War and served in the Navy. Visitation will be held Monday at Flanner and Buchanan-Broad Ripple from4-8pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at Christ the King CatholicChurch on Tuesday at 10:30am, with visitation one hour prior. Onlinecondolences may be shared at www.flannerbuchanan.com.
