Freddie Ray Cater, 75, of Avon, Indiana passed away August 22, 2022, in Avon. He was born 12 November 1946 to Fred & Emma Lucille (Swinford) Cater in Fayetteville, Tennessee.
Freddie retired from the United States Air Force after 22 years as a Master Sergeant before going to work for the Federal Aviation Administration as an electronics technician.
Freddie is survived by his wife Rita of 52 years, daughter Nicole (John) Manley, his brother Roger (Ann) Cater of Tucson, Arizona, and his sister Loretta (Bennie) Christian.
A Celebration of Life service will take place in the fall, and Freddie will be laid to rest at the Middle Tennessee State Veterans Cemetery in Nashville.
