77 of Indianapolis, Indiana, passed away on November 21, 2024. Freda was born on March 2, 1947, in Indianapolis, Indiana to the late Artelia Ridley and Webb Elam. She was retired from Indiana Bell/AT&T after fifty years. She was a member of New Era Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents and five siblings. She is survived by her sister, Marva Chubb, sister, Nicole Elam, nephews, Christopher (Shannon) Mitchell, Clarence Mitchell and Landre Elam, nieces, Kristen (Bayette Wilson) Mitchell, Jada Elam, Destrea Elam and a host of cousins and friends. Visitation will be Tuesday, December 10, 2024 from 11 am to 1 pm at Flanner Buchanan-Floral Park. Funeral service will be Tuesday, December 10, 2024, at 1 pm at Flanner Buchanan-Floral Park. Burial will follow at Floral Park Cemetery.
