Fred Till

Fred Till 92, formerly of Carmel, passed away Sunday, January 15, 2012. Fred was born January 30, 1919 in Chicago to the late Sante and Angelina Melone Till. He served in the US Navy during WWII and was a graduate of Illinois Institute of Technology as a member of the Co-Op program. He later earned his MBA from Michigan State University attending night classes. Fred was a manufacturing engineer with Ford Motor Co., Bendex and Beehler Corp. In the 1970's, he went back to school and became a stockbroker at Dean Whitter. He retired in 1981 as a sales representative for DoAll Corp. A funeral Mass will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, January 20 at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, where friends and family are invited to gather from 9:30 until the time of the service. Fred is survived by his sons, Paul F., Mark S. (Elizabeth), Glen M. and Tom (Danette) Till; 7 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; brother, Joseph Tiritilli.
