Fred “Paul” Galloway Jr., was born September 8, 1965 in East Chicago, Indiana to the late Fred Galloway Sr. and Lauretha (Grant) Galloway.
Fred best known as “Paul” to many family and friends attended Jefferson Elementary School and then on to Beckman Middle School both of Gary, Indiana. Fred attended East Chicago Roosevelt High School and then went on to receive his GED through the job corps program of East Chicago.
Fred obeyed the gospel and was baptized April 6, 2003 at Barrington Area Church of Christ.
Fred loved to cook, host family gatherings, watch game shows, and eat good BBQ. Fred loved to dance, watch his grandson, as well as nieces and nephews. Fred had a great sense of humor and kept many people laughing. He was an all-around family man and wanted to see everyone smiling and in good spirits.
Fred spent most of his life living in Indiana. However, to spend time with his siblings he then moved to Killeen, Texas in January of 2009. Because of his love for cooking he catered many events for his brother. He volunteered at a group home named “A Fresh Start Treatment Center”, where he helped with fostering children. Fred then returned to Indiana in November 2019 to spend his last moments with his children, grandchildren, other relatives and friends.
Fred departed this life on May 30, 2021 in Indianapolis, Indiana. He leaves to cherish his memories: Children: Sequintis Keyonta Galloway Sr. (Erica), Tesh-Lanea’ Reeyanan Galloway, and honorary daughter: Shyta Echols. Siblings: Pamela D. Guy (deceased), Marvin L. Guy, Garett Galloway, Sidney Galloway, and Latoya M. Savage (Bryan). Grandson: Sequintis Galloway Jr., and honorary Grandchildren: Gabriella Jimenez, Wyatt Jimenez and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
