Fred W. Leavell, Jr., 72, Indianapolis, died July 27, 2003.
Mr. Leavell retired in 1991 as an insurance representative for Associated Milk Producers. After retirement he worked at Family Auto. Mr. Leavell was a member of Lawrence United Methodist, American Legion Post 137 and Indiana University Alumni Association. He served in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War and received at B.S. in Business from Indiana University in 1957. He was the widow of Frances June (Adam) Leavell. Survivors: children Christy Sargent, Cheryl Hoggatt, William Leavell and Jennifer Gamble; sister Elizabeth Buchanan; 11 grandchildren. Services will be at 1 p.m. Thurs. July 31, 2003 at Flanner & Buchanan Funeral Center - Washington Park East, with visitation from 4 to 8 p.m. Wed. July 30 at funeral center.
