Fred D. Sharp

Fred D. Sharp 88 of Indianapolis, Indiana passed away April 16, 2013. He was born on November 16, 1924 in Burksville, Kentucky the son of Eular and Lucy (White) Sharp. Fred served in the U S Army and Air Force during WW II and was a member of Westside Church of Christ. He was an avid golfer and loved fishing, bowling and making music. He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Juanita (Short) Sharp; daughter, Reda (William) Nester; grandsons, Aaron (Stef) Nester and Shane Nester; brother, Grady Sharp and sister, Maddie Brown. He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Maymie Hopper and brother, Dennis Sharp. .Visitation will be from 4:00 to 8:00 pm on Thursday (TODAY), April 18, 2013 at Flanner and Buchanan – Floral Park 425 N. Holt Road. Funeral services will be at 11:00 am on Friday, April 19, 2013 at Flanner and Buchanan. Burial will follow in Floral Park Cemetery with military graveside rites.
