Franky Arlayne Genier

Franky A (Lee) Gentry- Genier, 68, of Avon, IN passed away from natural causes on May 15, 2025 surrounded by family and loved ones. She was born Aug 16th, 1956, to the late Frank and Charlotte Lee of Lebanon, IN. She is survived by her husband, the love of her life, Gary Genier, 72, of Avon, to whom she remained happily married for 45 years. Theirs is a legacy of love that will endure in their: children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.

She is the oldest of 5 children: Kelley Kearney (husband Paul Kearney), Zarth Lee, Tierney Newnum, and Gunnar Lee along with numerous nieces and nephews.

She leaves behind a legacy of love and life shared with 4 children: Gary Genier jr. and, wife Tanessa, Nevada Gentry, Blanton Gentry, and wife Melissa and Charli Hidalgo and husband Johnny.

Along with grandchildren: Kendall and Blaize Genier, Talan Gentry, Lexie Luke, Trace and London Gentry, Ziva, Mateo, Onyx, Elaina, Emanuel, and Isabel Hidalgo and recent great -grandchildren: Walker and Scarlett Luke.

She had a heart of service, frequently serving the homeless in downtown Indianapolis with necessities and always willing to have an open front door to love on people.

Franky was a loving wife and devoted mother. In her later years nothing brought her more joy than to dote on her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Her contribution to the lives of those around her will live on in their continued growth to all who had the privilege of knowing or loving her.
