Frank Edward Nichols

Frank Edward Nichols of Indianapolis, died December 16, 2012 at the age of 68. Frank was born July 18, 1944 in Norton, Virginia to Carl Jesse Nichols and Helen E. Neely Nichols. He moved to Indiana when he was 15 and later graduated from Arsenal Technical High School. He spent his career as a Union Sheet Metal Journeyman for Local 20 retiring after 34 years of service in 1997. He was active in the Indiana Ropers and Doggers and then PRCA until 1999. He was an avid reader of Westerns and was proud to be a member of Christ United Methodist Church for the past 7 years. He will be greatly missed by his loving family and friends. Frank is survived by his wife of 45 years Judith Gaither Nichols; son Shayne Edward Nichols of Lakeland, FL; daughter Stacy Nichols Wilson (Scott) of Indianapolis; grandson Maddix Shayne Wilson of Indianapolis; and brother Earl Jesse Nichols of Milton, FL. A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or any organizations that serve children.
