Frank Codalata

Frank Codalata 78 of Indianapolis, IN passed away on January 30, 2014. He was Owner and Operator of Frank's Transmission in Indianapolis which was established in 1960. Frank was a very caring person sharing his time and talents with the American Legion, World Karting Association, Southern Indiana Racing Association and even teaching automobile repair at Arsenal Technical High School. He was a member of St. Ann Catholic Church. He leaves to mourn his loss his wife of 53 years, Frances, children, Frank A. (Gina) Codalata, Shelly Ann Tarus (Tim O'Brien), Tony Codalata, Nick Codalata(Theresa Kimble) , Gina Francis Codalata (Danny Terril), 16 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, and his sister, Florence (Garry) Schoening. Services will be Tuesday, February 4, 2014 11 AM at St. Ann Catholic Church, 6350 S. Mooresville Road Indianapolis, IN with visitation Monday, February 3rd 6-9 PM at Flanner and Buchanan-Decatur. He will be laid to rest at Floral Park Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Ann Catholic Church.
