Greenfield, Indiana – Frank R. Anderson passed away on February 12, 2024, after being comforted by his loving daughter, Carla. Frank was born in Charleston, Illinois, on November 2, 1929, to parents Luther Bedford and Bertha Alice (Black) Anderson.
Frank joined the United States Army out of high school and was a Purple Heart veteran who served overseas in the Korean War. After his return to the states, he became an ironworker, eventually co-owning and operating Ironworker Bridge Company.
When not working, Frank loved to ride Harley Davidson Motorcycles, playing cards with his friends, and collect firearms.
Frank is survived by his daughters, Carla Anderson and Vicki Anderson, son Frank Richard Anderson, Jr., and grandchild Shawn Mullins.
Entombment will take place at 1 pm at Washington Park East Cemetery on Friday, February 16, 2024.
