Francis Henry Lawson

Francis Henry Lawson, 86, Mooresville, passed away June 26, 2014. He was born in 1928 to John and Lydia Lawson in Newcomb, TN. Francis met and married his wife of 66 years, Vernie Stephens. He served in the US Army during Korean War and was highly decorated. Francis retired in 1981 from International Harvester after working 30 years as a millwright. Mr. Lawson is survived by his wife, Vernie, eight children, eleven grandchildren, fifteen great-grandchildren, three sisters, two brothers, and a host of nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents, his only son, Arnold and two sons-in-law.
