E. Frances “Francey” Hope, 86 of Carmel, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, June 1, 2011. Francey was born May 26, 1925 in Clinton, IN to the late Ernest C. and Dorothy L. Prulhiere Weber. After graduating from Fariview High School, she moved to Indianapolis and later Carmel. Francey was a receptionist at Flanner and Buchanan in Carmel from 1984 until 2009.
Francey was a very active member of Carmel Christian Church where she dedicated vast amounts of her time helping the people of her church community, including teaching Sunday School for several years. She was a Bridge aficionado and an avid sports fan. Whether it was sitting in the bleachers at a little league game, on a chair in a bowling alley, walking the golf course or in the stands at a Cubs game, Francey never missed an event.
Funeral services will be at 11:00 am Monday, June 6 at Carmel Christian Church. Friends and family are invited to call from 2:00 pm - 6:00 pm Sunday at Flanner and Buchanan Funeral Center-Carmel.
Francey was the widow of F. Robert Hope. She is survived by her son, Mike (wife, Susie) Hope; grandsons, Jack (wife, Kylee) and Andy Hope; great grandson, Paxton Hope; daughter-in-love, Joelyn (husband, Randy) Craig; brother, Bill (wife, Dorothy) Weber.
