Frances Maxine Bundy, 83, of Indianapolis, passed away on Thursday, December 3, 2015. She was born on February 7, 1932 in Orleans, IN to Herschel Forty and Callie Blanche (Wells) Huston. Maxine graduated from Orleans High School and worked as a Bookkeeper for J.C. Penney for 20 years, retiring in 1997. She was a member of Ben Davis Christian Church for over 40 years, and was very involved in the various church ministries and activities. Maxine enjoyed working out at Curves in Avon and the many friends she met there. She also enjoyed meeting up with other J.C. Penney retirees for dinners and other various outings. However, the most important thing in her life was her family. "Mamaw" is survived by her sons, Mark (Diana) Bundy and David (Karen) Bundy; grandchildren, Kristy, Jennifer, Callie, Matthew, Michael, Alissa and Patrick; great-grandchildren, Jessica, Benjamin, Kaitlin, Kalyb, Carlie, Makenzie and Kylie; sister, Marjorie Holmes. She is also survived by her former daughter-in-law, Kathy Bundy; and granddaughter-in-law, Brenda Bundy Enos. Maxine was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Homer Bundy; daughter, Tibbi Hargis; grandson, Mark Bundy, Jr. and several brothers and sisters. Visitation for Mrs. Bundy will be held on Sunday, December 6, 2015 from 2-6pm at Flanner and Buchanan Speedway. Funeral services will be held on Monday at 10am, also at the funeral home. Burial will follow in West Ridge Park Cemetery. Maxine was very generous in life, and would encourage any memorial contributions be given to Ben Davis Christian Church.
