Frances Frost Huter Williams was born in Indianapolis, IN on October 16, 1914, the fifth child of Julian and Cora(Renforth) Frost. Her parents and six siblings, Marion, Robert, Lester(Jack), Elizabeth(Betty), Harold, and Maurice all preceded her in death. She graduated from Tech High School in 1932 and attended Manchester College, North Manchester, IN from 1934-1936. Frances was school secretary at Harry E. Wood High School from its opening in 1953 to its closing in 1978. She retired from Indianapolis Public Schools in 1981. Frances was married 43 years to Warren L. Huter who passed away in 1983. Three children were born in this union. In 1985, she married a childhood friend, Robert W. Williams. He passed away in 1997. Frances was a member of the Northview Church of the Brethren. She was a 50 year member of (Neola) Lawrence Rebekah Lodge, Millersville Eastern Star, OES, Tarum Court, and Daughters of the Nile. Her survivors include her sons: Sherrill “Guy”(Mary Ann), Darryl(Sandy)Huter, and daughter Kathleen(Rex) Payne; six grandchildren: Christine(Ben) Graber, Tim Huter, Jeffrey(Vanessa) Huter, Julie Koers, Lori(Bryant) Jones, Terry Jones; nine great grandchildren: Adam and Emily Koers, Noah and Seth Graber, Lucas Huter, Lucy and Lance Jones, Renforth and Crosby Frances Huter. Visitation will be held on Sunday, July 10, 2011 from 1-6 PM followed by a funeral service at 6:00 PM at Flanner and Buchanan - Washington Park East. Burial is private.
