Frances Ann (Weston) Fawver-Waugh, age 101, formerly of Sedona. Arizona, passed away peacefully with family at her side on September 1, 2021 at Millers Oak Pointe Assisted Living Facility in Columbia City, Indiana. She was born April 8, 1920 in Saginaw, Michigan to the late George and Ilda Mae (Stewart) Weston. She was preceded in death by her brother, Jack Weston of Saginaw and husbands, Harlan Glenn Fawver of Greenfield, Indiana and Dale Waugh of Sedona, Arizona.
Upon graduating from Saginaw High School, she joined the U.S. Navy WAVES during WWII as a Naval Air Base radio operator 3/C from 1943 until 1945, participating in the Honor Flight to Washington, D.C. in more recent years.
She married and had four children, Colleen (Greg) Sampson, Vern (Becky) Fawver, Kevin (May) Fawver, and Jay (Kris) Fawver. Frances had 7 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. She was a resident of Greenfield, Indiana for 30 years where she and Harlan raised their children. Following the death of Harlan in 1980, she relocated to Bella Vista, Arkansas, where she married Dale. She and Dale lived in Mexico before settling in Sedona, Arizona which became home for the next 30 years.
Frances loved to travel world-wide, however Hawaii remained her favorite destination. She enjoyed perfecting her bridge game, and was an active member of the PEO International Sisterhood. She loved current fashion and always kept fresh flowers nearby. Her cheerful and playful personality was endeared by many friends.
