Forrest D. Doc Marsh, 80, of Brownsburg, passed away on Saturday, November 7, 2015. He was born on March 6, 1935 in Scottsville, KY to Bruce and Della (Cox) Marsh. Doc served his country in the U.S. Army and was honorably discharged in 1963. He was a proud owner of the Marsh Trucking Co. for almost 20 years, before his retirement in 1988. Doc was an avid car collector, and was a member of the Thunderbird and Corvair Car Clubs. He enjoyed traveling and was proud to have visited every state in the United States. Doc also attended Connection Pointe Christian Church. He is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Sally Poindexter; son, Bruce (Connie) Poindexter; granddaughters, Jennifer Poindexter and Emily (Scott) Rogers; great-granddaughters, Paiton, Ryann, Addison and Zoey. Doc is also survived by his brother, Donald C. Marsh; sister, Sammie Edwards; and close friends, Rene and Larry Smith. A service celebrating Docs life will be held on Saturday, November 14, 2015 at 11am in Flanner and Buchanan Speedway. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to the American Cancer Society. Friends are invited to leave online condolences for the family at www.flannerbuchanan.com.
