Forrest Ray Blansette
79, Indianapolis, Died May 27, 2012 in Zionsville, IN. Forrest was born in New Castle, IN on April 3, 1933, to the late Forrest and Ruth (Daily)Blansette.
Forrest graduated from New Castle Chrysler High School. He was in the Navy during the Korean War and was involved with maintaining and operating training devices for naval flight crews. He was a member of the VR 22 Naval Transport Squadron in Norfolk. Forrest retired in 1992 as an investigator for Equifax.
Forrest is survived by his three sons, Bradley, Kenneth, and Stephe (Stacey) Blansette and 5 grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 11 am to 1 pm Thursday May 31, 2012 at Flanner and Buchanan – Zionsville with a funeral service beginning at 1pm. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to the Disabled Veterans National Foundation (1634 "Eye" Street - Suite 750 - Washington DC 20006)
