Floyd "Don" Donald Westrick

Floyd Donald “Don” Westrick of Indianapolis, IN, passed away on March 31, 2024, at the age of 89. He was born in Ripley County, IN, on February 26, 1935, to parents, John A. and Alberta (Messer) Westrick. Don graduated from Manual High School and shortly thereafter began working for American Airlines.  He worked in customer service for American Airlines for 36 years. Don worked with Your Advantage Travel for roughly 15 years. He was a longtime little league coach, coaching kids’ baseball, basketball, and football. Don enjoying traveling and taking cruises with his loving wife, Shirley. Don loved his family dearly and will be greatly missed by all those who knew him. 

Don married Shirley Gregory and together they have spent nearly 70 wonderful years, she survives. He is survived by children, Greg (Becky) Westrick, Doug (Pam) Westrick, Dennis Westrick; grandchildren, Amanda Hall, Kyle Westrick, Lindsay King, Alex Westrick; great-grandchildren, Seth Martin, Cole and Sydney Westrick; brother, Phillip Westrick. 

He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, John A. Westrick Jr.

Visitation will be held from 12pm until 2pm, Saturday, April 6, 2024, at Flanner Buchanan – Washinton Park North. A Funeral Service will be held following the visitation at 2pm, on April 6, 2024, at Flanner Buchanan – Washington Park North.
