F. Robert Lively, 88, of Indianapolis, passed away December 9th, 2025 surrounded by his loving family. Born on April 23, 1936 in Indianapolis, Bob was an attorney with Lively, Shaver and Troiani on the southside of Indianapolis for 55 years. Bob served in the United States Army and in the Judge Advocate General’s office. He dedicated his life to creating a loving and nurturing home for his wife, Norma (Fox) Lively of 67 years and three children.

An unwavering faith in his Lord and savior Jesus Christ guided his life. Bob exhibited his devotion by volunteering in numerous civic organizations including being an elder at Southport Presbyterian Church, a founding member of the soccer program at the Baxter YMCA, and served as the attorney for towns of Homecroft and Cleremont. Their home was always open and served as a gather place for family and friends.

Bob was predeceased by his wife, Norma (Fox) Lively of 67 years and son Chris (Kathleen) Lively, survived by son Brian Lively and daughter Kimberly (Thomas) Gunderman; and his cherished grandchildren, Meghan (Andrew) Fasseas, Peter (Kristi) Lively, Matthew (Morgan) Lively, Andrew (Francesca) Lively, Seth (Jana) Gunderman, Erin Lively, Patricia (Colin) Gloudemans, Luke (Allison) Gunderman, Joel (Tessa) Gunderman; great-grandchildren, Katherine Fasseas, Alexandra Fasseas, Olivia Fasseas, Brooke Gunderman, Nora Lively, Everett Gunderman, Peter Fasseas, Savannah Gunderman, Charlie Gloudemans, Quinn Lively, Michael Lively. He was predeceased by his parents, Floyd and Claria Lively and brother, Donald Lively.
