Ferris Risk

Ferris G. Risk 98, of Indianapolis, departed this life March 25, 2012. He owned and operated the Horizon Room Supper Club, The Corner Grocery (22nd and Talbott) and Ferris' Market (North Addison). He was preceded in death by parents, George and Nezley Risk; brothers, Clarence and Michael; sisters, Helanie, Wideha, Mary, Marie, Beatrice and Frances, and grandsons, Michael and David Welsh. Ferris is survived by daughter, Janice Welsh-Roe; son, Stanley (Evelyn) Risk; granddaughter, Lori Welsh; great-grandson, Jacob Welsh and many nieces and nephews. Visitation is Wednesday, March 28, from 4 to 8 p.m. in Flanner and Buchanan - Broad Ripple , 1305 Broad Ripple Ave., North Park Masonic Lodge Service at 7 p.m. Trisagion service at 7:45 p.m. Funeral service will be Thursday, March 29 at 10 a.m. in St. George Orthodox Church, 4020 N. Sherman Drive, with a one-hour vigil prior. Entombment will follow at 2 p.m. in Washington Park East Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. George Church.
