F. Mardelle Kurtz

F. Mardelle (Shoemaker) Kurtz 90 of Indianapolis died on April 28, 2015. Mardelle was born on April 05, 1925 in Westfield, IN to Dewey and Vivian (Barrickman) Shoemaker. Mardelle was a member of the Speedway United Methodist Church. She worked during the war at Eli Lilly and Company and was a secretary and a tour director for the Speedway AARP. Mardelle was preceded in death by her husband William Lester Kurtz. Calling will be on Tuesday May 05, 2015 at Flanner and Buchanan-Speedway beginning at Noon followed by the funeral at 1 pm. Survivors include a sister Beverly Ann (Shoemaker) Norman, nieces Laura (Frank) Polich and Anne (Sean) Conner and seven great nieces and nephews. Memorial contributions may be given to either the American Diabetes Association or the Alzheimer's Association. Burial will be in Crown Hill Cemetery.
