Evelyn L. -Evie- Loesch

Evelyn Louise “Evie” Loesch, 90, of Indianapolis, IN was born August 12, 1925 and passed away on March 9, 2016. She was born in Ellettsville, Indiana to George and Mary Alice Spilbeler, who precede her in death. She is also preceded by her husband, Robert Loesch, her son Joe Loesch and her sister, Gwendolyn Bailey.

Evelyn loved life! Some of her favorite things included crafts, sewing, and coffee but her passions were reading and Tom Selleck. She retired from Marsh Grocery Stores and she was also a 50 year member of the Order of the Eastern Star.

Surviving to cherish her memory are her children, Evelyn (David) Stephens, Shelley Marqua, Stephen (Kelly) Loesch, her sister, Barbara McGrevy, brother, Donald (Margaret) Spilbeler, grandchildren, Dana (Rick) Johnson, Drew Stephens, Janean (Brett) Griffin, Michele (Terry) Farley, Rebecca (Joel) de Jesus, Melanie Loesch, Christina (Jeff) Barker, Sandy (Lonnie) Parks, and John (Betty) Loesch, great-grandchildren, Traci Johnson, Amber Griffin, Katie Griffin, Matthew Griffin, McKenzie de Jesus, Jessica Sipes, A. J. Sipes, Bradley (Danielle) Parks, Nicholas Parks, Katrina (Ronnie) Easpes and John Loesch and great-great grandchildren, Allie, Owen and Landon.

Friends and family may visit from 2-6 PM Sunday, March 13, 2016 at Flanner and Buchanan – Washington Park East, 10722 E. Washington St., Indianapolis. A celebration of Evelyn’s Life will be held at 1 PM Monday at Flanner and Buchanan. Contributions may be made in her name to Breast Cancer Awareness. Please share memories at www.flannerbuchanan.com
