Evelyn Franklin

Evelyn Franklin, 99, Mooresville, and formerly of Indianapolis, passed away June 18, 2013. She was born August 4, 1913 in Chicago, the daughter of Raymond and Verna (Brinkman) Sylvester. Evelyn was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, William E. Franklin, and her son, John Keith Franklin. She is survived by her children, William G. Franklin (Faye) and Elizabeth Elaine Franklin; her sisters, Mae Sylvester, Dorothy Horek, and Phyllis Chiavetta; her brother, Raymond Sylvester; and nine grandchildren, 34 great-grandchildren, and eight great-great-grandchildren. Services will be on Friday, June 21, 2013 at 1 PM at Flanner and Buchanan- Washington Park East, 10722 E. Washington Street, with visitation from 11 AM until the time of service.
