Evelyn Frances Atwell

Evelyn F. Atwell, 90 passed away May 21, 2011, at her Indianapolis residence. She was born in Indianapolis October 3, 1920. Survivors include; sons, Terry (Joyce) Burke, Steve (Linda) Burke, Jack (Margaret) Burke, John (Margie) Burke, Mike (Charlotte) Burke, Woody (Beth) Atwell; sisters, Bea Tedrow, Jenny Barr; brother, Bob Mascoe; 18 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren. Evelyn was preceded in death by daughter, Linda Burke, son, Tom Burke, grandson Jack Burke Jr. and her parents. Evelyn worked at Imperial Packaging. She was also on the administrative staff with A&J Vending. Evelyn was a member of the Lake Freeman Ski Club and the Oaklandon Eastern star. Evelyn loved quilting and needle point. She was very crafty. She also loved to fish. Friends may call Wednesday from 4:00PM to 8:00 PM at Flanner & Buchanan Washington Park East 10722 E. Washington Street. A service will take place Thursday at 11:00 AM at the funeral home. Entombment will be at Washington Park East Cemetery.
