Evan Anthony Demarinis

Evan Anthony DeMarinis, 24, Carmel, passed away January 23, 2015. He was born March 2, 1990, in Columbus, OH, the son of Don and Krista (Meservey) DeMarinis. Evan graduated from Carmel High School in 2008. He was pursing his passion for cooking by attending Ivy Tech's Culinary Arts program while working at Matt the Miller's Tavern and dreamed to one day open a restaurant of his own. He had great talent with things that required working with his hands. He enjoyed camping, snowboarding, and played rugby in high school. He is survived by his parents, Don and Krista DeMarinis; brother, Collin DeMarinis; aunts, Vicki Friedman and Marita DeMarinis; and uncles, Jeff Meservey and Marc (Shannon) Meservey. He was preceded in passing by his grandparents, Robert and Sharlene Meservey and Don and Laurie DeMarinis; and maternal great grandmother, Charlotte Aninos. Services will be 12 noon Tuesday, January 27, 2015, at Flanner and Buchanan – Carmel, 325 East Carmel Drive. Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service.
