Gene Canada Of Indianapolis went home to be with the Lord on June 17, 2012. He was the husband of the late Lois (Polly) Canada. Two daughters survive him, Marlena (Andy) McCoy and Donya Riedl, also three grandchildren, Justice and Aron Riedl and April Brown, great granddaughter, Ava Brown and present wife Shirley Evans. He was a Korean War Veteran and retired from Daum Over-Nite Trucking and Alvan Motor Freight. He was a member of 135 Teamsters Union and Southwood Assembly of God. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday in Flanner and Buchanan - Washington Park East , 10722 E. Washington Street, Indianapolis. Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday in the funeral center, with Pastor Keith Williams officiating.
