Eugene D. Finchum
99, of Charlestown, Indiana, passed away on July 28, 2023. Eugene was born on June 10, 1924, in Monrovia, Indiana to the late Edith and Venice Finchum. He was a graduate of Washington High School. He was the owner of Finchum Trucking Company of Indianapolis. He was an Army Veteran, a member of the American Legion and Masonic Lodge. He was also a Kentucky Colonel. He was preceded in death by his wife, Edith Finchum; daughter, Beverly O’Neill and his parents. He is survived by his children, Carolyn Givens, Sandra (Jack) Schultz, Sharon Skojac and James (Debra) Finchum, twelve grandchildren and several great-grandchildren. Funeral service will be Thursday, August 3, 2023, at 1 pm with visitation from noon at Flanner Buchanan-Floral Park. Burial will follow at Floral Park Cemetery.
