Ethelmae (Ballard) Neeb

Ethelmae (Ballard) Neeb, 85, of Brownsburg, passed away on Saturday, July 11, 2015. She was born on April 10, 1930 in Elkhart, IN to Brice and Ruth (Metz) Weddle. Shortly after her father's death, she was adopted by her great Aunt and Uncle, Ethel Marie (Roth) Ballard and Alonzo Ballard. Ethelmae married Meryl T. Neeb on May 31, 1953. She was a former member of Northwest Baptist Church where she enjoyed playing the piano. She was also very involved with raising her 6 children and numerous grandchildren. Ethelmae is survived by her loving family; sons, Ronnie (Brenda) Neeb, Steve Neeb, Brice Neeb; daughters, Carol (Mike) Henry, Sue (Rick) Burrows, Debra (Tony) Dalton; 13 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister, Bobby Sue Markley and brother, Brice Weddle. Ethelmae was preceded in death by her parents; and husband, Meryl. Funeral services will be held on Monday, July 20, 2015 at 12noon in Flanner and Buchanan – Speedway. Visitation will be 1 hour prior to the service, also at the funeral home. Burial will take place in Forest Hill Cemetery in Shelbyville. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to the charity of the donor's choice.
