Ethel L. Rankin

Ethel L. Rankin of Indianapolis passed away peacefully December 11, 2020 at the age of 94.

Ethel was born August 4, 1926 in Wanamaker, IN to the late John H. and Naomi Hause.

She enjoyed cooking, traveling, puzzles, and long talks with her sisters on the phone. She also collected glassware.

She is survived by her son Jerry L. Rankin (Carolyn L); as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband Robert P. Rankin in February; son Ronald Lee Rankin at birth; her sister-in-law and best friend Joan Rankin who preceded her two weeks ago at the age of 94; and siblings Elsie Truesdel, Leona Perry, Velda Sidener, Russell Hause, Alvin Hause, Eugene Hause, and Narell Hause.

The family will be holding private services.  She will be laid to rest next to her husband at Washington Park East Cemetery.
