Ethel Jones

Ethel Mae Jones, 91, of Indianapolis, passed away on Saturday, September 15, 2012. She was born on July 14, 1921 in Fortville, IN to Hervey and Nora Kelley. Ethel was a former member of Third Christian Church. She is survived by her sons, Larry (Georgetta) Cooper and Gary Jones; 5 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great grandchildren. Ethel was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Ralph Jones; son, Jimmy Joe Cooper; daughter-in-law, Patricia Cooper. Funeral services for Mrs. Jones will be held at Flanner and Buchanan – Broad Ripple on Tuesday, September 18, 2012 at 10am. Burial will take place in Oaklawn Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be Monday evening at the funeral home from 4 until 8pm. Memorial contributions may be given to the American Cancer Society.
