Esther M. Sandridge

Esther M. Sandridge (nee: Aufderhaar), 93, of Indianapolis went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, February 24, 2015. She was born December 3, 1921 in Saint Mary's, Ohio to the late William and Marguerite Raediuger Aufderhaar. Esther was a very loving mother and cared for all of her family dearly. She never met a stranger, and was happy to share her Faith with anyone she met. If anyone was in need of prayer, you could count on her. How blessed she was to have so many years to live for the Lord, and to grow such a large faithful family! Left to cherish her memory are her children Elton (Diane) Sandridge, Eloise (Terry) Wilkin, Esther (Kim) Evans, Mary (Preston) Heitzman, Martha Beard, Ernestine (Mark) Hardy, Elizabeth (Tony) Howard, Charity Cordova, Eunice (Perry) Johnson, Joyce (Michael) Eickhoff, and Joseph (Dan) Sandridge; 48 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; and several great-great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents and siblings, she was preceded in death by her husband Ernest Sandridge, son Ed Sandridge, and daughter Emajane Clark. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society or to the wishes of the family.
