Esther L. Boston Mother, Grandmother, Great Grandmother, Sister, and friend died on Sunday, Oct 14. She was 93. Her husband Daniel L. Boston died in 1993. They were married 59 years. Daughters, Mary Kathryn Vogel and Barbara Sue Tittle (William) and a large family is left to mourn her. Grandchildren, Dawn Durchholz (Dale), Philip Kelly Vogel (Diana) Elisabeth Ann Graves (Dave) Melissa Jane Oliver (Andy) Christopher Edward Weaver, great grandchildren, Alexandra Paige Durchholz, Ian Philip Vogel, Cameron Boston Vogel, Alan Oliver, Daniel Oliver, Kathryn Oliver, Jeremy Graves, Jackie Graves, Sister, Anna Mae Schafer, Brother, Robert Tucker (Barbara) of Oregon. Born on a farm in Breckenridge Co. Ky., she helped care for her 4 sisters. She loved nursing the small animals after they retired to the farm in Danville, IN. She enjoyed holding an office and attending conventions in Arizona with the Rebekahs. A high point of their vacations was Hawaii where she talked about the black swan. She was a member of Pittsboro Baptist Church and was known as a wonderful cook. She was a member of South Middle West Homemakers Club for 30 years. In her early years she worked for Wm. H. Block and the Bureau of Motor Vehicles. Viewing will be Saturday, October 20, 2012 from 11:00 to 1:00 at Flanner and Buchanan - Oaklawn Memorial Gardens Good Shepherd Chapel 9700 Allisonville Road with a service starting at 1:00 p.m. Entombment will be in Floral Park Cemetery, Indianapolis, IN. A light Luncheon will be held in the Garden Room at Flanner and Buchanan – Broad Ripple 1305 E. Broad Ripple Ave from 2:00 to 4:00 pm. Donations may be made to Alzheimer's Assoc. or National Cancer Society. Online condolences may be shared with the family at: www.flannerbuchanan.com She was so proud of her family.
