Ernestine Costello

Ernestine Costello, 88, passed peacefully at home surrounded by her four daughters on March 3, 2022. Ernie was born in Indianapolis on August 4, 1933, to Jerry and Pauline Stanfield. She graduated from St. Mary’s Academy and was a lifelong member of St. Christopher’s Catholic Church. Ernie was blessed with a large and loving family who all adored her and she will be dearly missed. She is survived by her daughters Denise (Cathi) Costello, Lisa (Ken) Dawes, Michele Boeck, and Andrea Dugan; her eight grandchildren Alexandra (Spencer) Gray, Madison and Avery Dawes, Isabelle and Peyton Boeck, Will, Sadie and Savannah Dugan; her three great-grandchildren Isla, Rooney and Padme Gray; and by her sister Geraldine Pennycuff. Ernie is preceded in death by her husband Bill.

A private service for family will be held March 19, 2022.
