Ernestine Louise Bolton

Ernestine Louise Bolton, 92, of Indianapolis, Indiana, passed away on September 25, 2025. Ernestine was born on August 12, 1933, in Petoskey, Michigan to the late Ernest and Margurite Stievenart. 

She retired from the Indiana State Auditor’s Office. She had also worked in the cafeteria for Sanders Elementary School. She was a member of Aldersgate United Methodist Church and was past president of the P.T.A at Sanders Elementary School from 1971 to 1975. 

She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Ray Bolton, one brother, four sisters and her parents. She is survived by children Bill Bolton, Jackie (David) Carr and Donna (Allen) Aitken, grandchildren Jennifer (Gene) Hegarty, Jessica (Danny) Thompson, Amanda (Seth) Bradshaw and Michael (Karent) Aitken, great grandchildren Elizabeth, Abraham and J.J. and brother Jack (Marcia) Stievenart. 

Visitation will be Tuesday, September 30, 2025, from 11 am to 1 pm at Flanner Buchanan-Floral Park. Funeral service will be Tuesday, September 30, 2025, at 1 pm at Flanner Buchanan-Floral Park. Burial will follow at Floral Park Cemetery.
