Ernestina Valle de Mancia, 92, of El Salvador, passed away on March 8, 2026.
Ernestina was born April 6, 1933, in El Salvador to the late Padro Valle and Maria Luz Hercules. She dedicated her life to being a daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, friend and a follower of Christ/God.
She was known for her kindness, humor and humility. She loved her family, praising God, and sharing anything she had to offer. To her family and friends, she will be remembered for always being a light, even in the darkest of times.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ceferino Mancia; her son, Pedro A. Mancia and her daughter, Rosa A. Mancia.
She is survived by her children, Maria Luz Figueroa, Paulina Galdamez, Victor M. Mancia, Ana Mirian Umanzor, Jose Luis Mancia, Marta Alicia Mancia, Ceferino Mancia Jr, Maria E. Mancia, Jose Alfredo Mancia and Blanca Ernestina Mancia. Ernestina also has many grandchildren and extended family members and friends who will miss her deeply.
Visitation will be held at Flanner Buchanan- Hamilton Memorial Park (4180 Westfield Blvd, Westfield, IN 46062) from 4:00-8:00 pm on Wednesday, March 18, 2026. A Funeral Mass will then be held at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church (14598 Oak Ridge Rd, Carmel, IN 46032) on Thursday, March 19, 2026, at 11:00 am.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to organizations supporting leukemia, breast cancer and kidney cancer research and awareness.
Her love and guidance will remain in the hearts of all who knew her.
