Ernest L. “Ernie” Toigo

Ernest L. “Ernie” Toigo, 74 of Noblesville, passed away Friday, January 24, 2020. Ernie was born May 21, 1945 in Chicago to the late Louis M. and Norma Toigo. He served in the US Air Force during the Viet Nam War from September 1963 through September 1969.

Ernie was an aircraft mechanic. He worked for TWA and retired from American Airlines in 2010. He was very active in the Noblesville VFW, where he served as Chaplain and the Noblesville American Legion.

Family and friends are invited to gather Thursday, January 30 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at Flanner Buchanan-Hamilton Memorial Park, where a funeral service with military honors will be held at 11:00 am Friday, January 31.

Ernie is survived by his wife, Debbie; children, Melissa (husband, John) Rook, Mike (wife, Samantha) Toigo, Chris (wife, Michelle) Toigo, Alan (wife, Stephanie) Toigo; stepson, Josh (wife, Kimberly) Ford; grandchildren, Katrina, Samantha, Lauren, Laney, Wyatt, Walker, Layla, Weston, Warren, Trenton, Lucy, Elaina and Karoline; great grandson, Greyson; brother, Larry (wife, Debbie) Toigo.
