Ernest Johnson

Obituary for Ernest T. Johnson, 90 Ernest left this world to be with his heavenly Father on Saturday, November 22, 2014. He was the son of Myrtle and John Johnson and was born on July 9, 1924 in Henderson, KY. On October 16, 1942 he married Rosemary Johnson who he professed his undying love to daily for the next 72 years. Ernest owned a variety of businesses throughout his lifetime from rental properties to restaurants, to trucking companies. He was loved by those who frequented his longest owned business of 32 years, Johnson's Market, on the south side of Indianapolis. His sense of humor to all those who knew him will be missed dearly. Ernest is survived by his wife Rosemary, his two children, David Johnson, Sharon (Shari) Gaughan, and sister, Thelma Light; four grandchildren and two great grandchildren. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. He was also a man who would have done anything for his family who he believed were the most important thing in his life!
